MR. JOE WILE, Head Instructor
Mr. Wile has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for over 16 years and is a fourth degree black belt in this art. He has competed at the national and international level in Olympic style Tae Kwon Do and is a graduate of the prestigious Ultimate Black Belt test and the Cooper Institute Instructor Certification program. He also completed his instructor training in the Premier Martial Arts program, has five years experience in Machado Brazilian Jujitsu under Machado Black Belt David Meyer and has five years experience in Krav Maga under Krav Maga Black Belt Mark Slane. |
| MRS. DENISE BOHNERT, Lead Instructor
Mrs. Bohnert’s family was literally the first family to walk into our school when it opened over 12 years ago. She has been training in the martial arts since then and is now a third degree black belt. She is the head instructor for our Little Ninjas program and has completed her PMA instructor training. Mrs. Bohnert is also a certified rape prevention counselor through AWSDA (America Women’s Self Defense Association), CPR certified and an AFAA certified instructor. |
MRS. SUE BURTON, Instructor, Gahanna Facilities and Program Director
Mrs. Burton has studied martial arts for years, including Kajukenbo, Kung Fu, grappling and Krav Maga. She has competed in traditional martial arts tournaments bringing home several medals, trophies and belts. In April of 2009, she was awarded her black belt in Krav Maga (she is the only female black belt at Ohio Krav Maga). Sue has a passion for physical fitness that has helped her to lose over 100 pounds! She is now driven to share this experience by leading and encouraging others as much as she can. More recently, Sue has taken on a paleo diet challenge and has changed her body composition and increased her workout performance. She also completed her PMA instructor training. She currently teaches Krav Maga, CrossFit and PMA youth classes. She also does personal training and is a level one certified CrossFit trainer. |
MRS. SHARON KISSEL, Lead Instructor
Mrs. Kissel has over eight years of teaching experience in Tae Kwon Do and is a second degree black belt in this art. She supplements her martial arts teaching with lessons learned from 14 years of successful daycare operations. She is a creative and exciting instructor for the Premier Martial Arts (PMA) program. Mrs. Kissel also completed her PMA instructor training, is CPR certified, and an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified instructor. |
MR. HAROLD ROUDABUSH, Instructor
Mr. Roudabush began his training at Gahanna Taekwondo Center (presently known as Ohio Krav Maga & Fitness), where he earned his first degree black belt. Shortly thereafter, he became an instructor through the school's S.T.O.R.M. instructor training program. Mr. Roudabush is currently training for his second degree black belt, while teaching and assisting in Ohio Krav Maga & Fitness's Junior and Adult PMA programs. |
MR. BRANDON WALSH, Instructor
Mr. Walsh is a second degree black belt in TKD. He has been teaching for six years, has successfully completed STORM instructor training and has competed in many sparring tournaments. He has performed on the demonstration team for many years. Most recently, he completed PMA instructor training and is currently attending Columbus State pursuing a degree in Law Enforcement. |
